Reading about it made me think of the importance of building rapport and setting clear expectations and objectives since the very beginning of a course/class. I think that one thing I need to improve is how I manage student anxiety and create a more welcoming environment during those first days. Sometimes I tend to focus too much on content and forget how overwhelming some topics or situations can be for students.
