FORMATIVE FEEDBACK ABOUT THE ACTIVITY

 

    I think that the activity was really good to end the semester as we have worked as team before but this assignment joined us more to deliver a better job. At the very beginning, it was kind of difficult to us to choose on which platform work on because all of them were good but we decided to work on blog. At the end, the result was magnifying. Probably, an advice for the teacher is to give more explanations about what he wants because sometimes we got some troubles doing it.

    In this activity, we learned how to be a teacher in the first days of classes with the students. We learned about the following suggestions, intended to help us get our class off to a good start, address three important tasks of the first day: handling administrative matters including course policies and procedures, creating a positive classroom environment, and setting course expectations and standards. Likewise, we learned about the general strategies to do in the classroom like check the classroom and equipment before the class to have a good start, and build a sense of community in the classroom. Besides, from the start, we have to make an effort to get to know our students and express our interest in working with them during the year or semester.

    Each material about teaching will always be welcome because that is why we are studying and each information in class, internet, books will always be helpful to become professionals. On the other hand, we have to learn how to manage and create an amazing enviroment in the classroom. In addiction, if we have in our course enrolls a lot of students, we should call the roll in several class meetings to help us learn names. Even if we can't learn everyone 's name, students appreciate your making the effort.

    Finally, this collaborative activity helped us a lot in o-+++++++ur learning as future professionals because we learned how to create a web page with a lot of important information from teachers and students. In addition, we read more information on how to be excellent teachers on the first day of school from students and teachers.

    In this activity, we learned to be a teacher; it was very emotional because we hadn't idea how the first class could be. We learned many things such as suggestions, and managing administrative matters, including the policies and procedures of the course. Therefore, in this semester with this subject, we learned that it is very important to create a work that follows the relationship as work areas so that students develop motor skills better; It is also very important to create a positive classroom environment by setting course expectations and standards. We learned about the general strategies on the first day of classes. It is not just teaching because there are rules for the class, on how to check work equipment and check the classroom and the equipment before class to have a good start.

    The first day of classes for students and teachers can be intimidating, but we recorded that a teacher has to be ready for any problem in the classroom. Thanks to the subject of teaching because I have learned how the class has to be organized, the class has to be programmed for any time problem; these are some topics for which this activity has helped us a lot.

     This activity, like many of the previous ones, helped us to work as a team to present our ideas about teaching. We have reflected on our experiences with each of our classes; we have provided ideas on how to improve our future practices. However, not everything was so simple. I think we should have organized ourselves better as a group to do a better job. Also, we must have all worked at the same time. Although, we become a group that solves its problems together and respects everyone's opinion equally. Finally, I think we all learned that being teachers is a big responsibility since we will guide people to be gentle to society and nature and also to be future professionals. All our experiences as students will guide us to be better teachers and think about the mental, physical, and emotional health of students.

    For me, the creation of a wiki can have several benefits. First, it allows us to receive guidance and support as we work on the project, helping us to identify areas where we need improvement and giving suggestions for how to make those improvements. This increases our confidence in the ability to create content and contribute meaningfully to the project.

    This project encourages us to reflect on the work and consider different perspectives, which leads to a deeper understanding of the material being covered. It also helps us develop critical thinking skills as we evaluate the feedback and make decisions about how best to incorporate it into our work.

     Creating a wiki is a very good activity because it helps us improve and also practice different areas, for example, we practice our thinking and comprehension skills since we have to read and provide our opinions based on the information. We practice how to work in teams, and listen other’s opinions. Last but not least, we practice our knowledge in grammar and composition.

    As I said, this activity has helped us practice some many things, and also we get involved with technology. We know that nowadays internet is very important in our daily life.

    Finally, I want to add that this activity is very useful because we as new teachers can put into practice these kind of activities in our classes.

    As I reflect on the experience of creating a blog dedicated to guiding teachers in creating a special environment for the first days of class, I am filled with a sense of fulfillment and gratitude. The journey of sharing my insights as an student teacher has been both rewarding and enlightening.

    Through the blog, I have emphasized the importance of setting the right tone in the initial days of class to foster a positive and engaging learning environment. I have provided practical strategies, such as icebreaker activities, establishing classroom expectations, and building rapport with students, to help student teachers lay a strong foundation for the entire academic year.

    The process of developing this blog has allowed me to delve deeper into my own teaching practices, reflecting on the experiences and techniques that have proven successful in my practices. It has reaffirmed my belief in the transformative power of creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that nurtures students' growth and learning.

    Through this blogging journey, I have come to appreciate the significance of collaboration and continuous learning. The feedback and suggestions I have received have inspired me to dig deeper into various aspects of classroom management, student motivation, and instructional techniques. This ongoing exploration has invigorated my teaching practice, allowing me to grow as an educator and further inspire my students.

    I am grateful for the opportunity to share my experiences and insights; it has been a remarkable journey of self-reflection, growth, and contribution to thestudents teachers community. My hope is that the blog has provided valuable guidance, support, and inspiration to student teachers as they embark on their own journeys of creating a special environment for the first days of class. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of our students and create classrooms where learning flourishes.

     In terms of creating a Wiki, it was immensely beneficial in establishing an information ecosystem by breaking down the topic of 'The first days of class.' It enabled us to not only share our opinions on the subject but also comprehend the more intricate information by highlighting the key points. Consequently, this topic served as a guiding framework that enriched our understanding with additional details. Moreover, the creation of this blog made me realise that I can expand beyond the primary subject matter by incorporating supplementary materials such as videos or related articles. In addition, all the group collaborated on each part of the blog and gave their best, supporting its development. This activity has helped us to gather overriding data to apply in our professional life as future teachers, and it reminds us that teaching is not easy since we need to follow some steps to develop a suitable class for our students.
